THE PROJECT

This project includes Generation Global manufacturing the literature pockets which are mounted on the forward bulkhead panels at the front of each cabin section. In the absence of a seat in front to utilise the seatback, a pocket is mounted onto the bulkhead panel facing the passengers. The pocket's function is to provide storage for the passenger’s belongings, the inflight magazine, safety card, and sickness bags.

GALLERY

The pocket is comprised of a number of parts including a lightweight composite backing panel which is wrapped in E-leather. On the face is a full-size lower pocket with the operator’s logo embroidered on the top right-hand corner, and a smaller upper pocket that sits behind the lower pocket but is still visible out the top. The pockets also are manufactured from E-leather which is a reconstituted leather product made from scrap leather fibers.

THE CLIENT

This operator is a North American airline operating its wide-body fleet predominately on internal flights. The operator's target market is business fliers through extensive in-flight service, personalised service, and flight convenience.
