AS350 in Henna Brown Leather

THE PROJECT>

For this project, the Generation Global team furnished an executive interior for an Airbus AS350 helicopter. Parts included new seating, parts wrapping, carpeting, and more.

This interior featured black as its main background colour. This included black seatbelts, and black floorcoverings, and all plastics were wrapped using black Micro Fibre leather (ADI-1096) with black stitching that blended in seamlessly. All seats, meanwhile, were covered with Henna leather - its beautiful red-brown hue became the interior’s feature colour.

The two crew seats in this helicopter are of the Gen III style. The seat cushions are held in place via velcro that attaches to the crew seat shells. We wrapped each seat shell with the same leather that was used on the main seat bodies. The henna brown leather on each seat was accented with black stitchwork.

The rear seats, on the other hand, are of a Gen IV design. Their headrests are not directly integrated into the seat body but are instead attached to the rear bulkhead with velcro. Each rear seat features horizontal seams running across its back and base inserts.

For this AS350, we installed Diva Carpet with black binding on its edging. We also fitted heel mats for the pilots that were made from durable black coin matting. These final pieces worked to round out our team’s interior refresh - with their installation, this classy executive interior was complete.
