C185 Skywagon Custom sheepskin seats refurbish

THE PROJECT>

For this project, Generation Global’s team refurbished the custom sheepskin seats on a client’s Cessna 185. We were able to work on these unique seat covers in-house, as our client brought them directly to our facility.

These seat covers were designed to fit over standard 1975-86 Cessna crew seats, but our team was able to incorporate authentic, mocha-colored sheepskin onto their front faces. The remainder of each seat cover is made from a handsome Truffle Brown leather, which perfectly matches the sheepskin.

These seats’ underlying structures were also refurbished from the frame up. We fully replaced each diaphragm and provided new cushions as well. 

We are happy to accommodate custom and one-off requests, such as the addition of sheepskin or the use of colors outside of our typical range. We are able to incorporate other “alternative” fabrics, such as vinyl, as well (though these are sometimes more expensive). Typically, we use genuine leather on all our seating. We do, though, regularly use sheepskin for crew seating on commercial airliners, as it provides superior comfort on long-haul flights.
