Fokker 100 Crew Seats

This project included Generation Global developing and certifying replacement seat covers and cushions for the cockpit seating in the Fokker 100 series aircraft. Click here to see the Fokker 100 interior parts on Generation Global website.

The cockpit seats are made up of a bottom assembly, backrest assembly and headrest assembly. The dress covers are manufactured from short wool sheepskins in the oxford grey colour. The side borders are manufactured from a special wool/nylon blend cockpit fabric that Generation Global have developed for cockpit seating. The sheepskin is sourced from sheep farmed in the alpine regions of New Zealand. This provides thicker pelts and more thermal properties.

The headrest is made from Charcoal Grey (ADI-1121FR) aviation leather and include a placard embroidered into the rear face. The headrest fits onto an adjustable frame.

THE CLIENT>

This client operates the Fokker 100 aircraft for charter flights within the Australian region. The Fokker 100 offers seating for 100 passengers with a single isle and 3 seats each side. The client also operates the Fokker 75 and Fokker 50 jet aircraft as well as the EMB 175 regional jet aircraft.
