AS350 Interior with customised rear bulkhead

THE PROJECT >

This project included Generation Global supplying a full interior kit for an AS350 helicopter. This includes all the seating, floor coverings, miscellaneous interior trims and a customised rear bulkhead panel. These parts where supplied as a kit and installed by the maintenance provider. The seat upholstery was manufactured in a Charcoal Grey (ADI-1121) aviation leather with a lighter Titanium Grey (ADI-1231) used on the centre inserts to give a grey two-tone affect. The Airbus logo was embossed into the leather below the headrest of the crew seats. All stitching was matched to the Charcoal Grey leather colour.

The rear wall bulkhead panel is manufactured from a high-density PE foam. It is computer cut and is wrapped in a ‘Matt Black’ synthetic leather. The custom rear bulkhead is a great place to feature the client’s logo as it is highly visible to the passengers as the enter the Pax compartment. This panel included a full colour client logo embroidered into the top and centre of the panel. The glare shield and parcel shelf were also wrapped in the ‘Matt Black’ synthetic leather and feature decorative titanium grey stitching. The floorcoverings were in a ‘Graphite’ penny matting and were supplied in a sheet and cut in by the maintenance provider.

THE CLIENT>

The client is a helicopter operator in a rural region of New Zealand's east coast. The client specialises in supporting the agricultural sector including services such as spraying. The region boasts some large produce growers who supply there goods internationally.
