AS350 interior in lime

THE PROJECT 

The AS350, or “Squirrel,” as it is fondly known within the industry, is a very popular light utility helicopter that has been manufactured for nearly 50 years. For this project, we supplied a new interior for an AS350 helicopter. The interior included seating, flooring, headlining,  bulkheads and boots for a client located in Australia.

The seats in this bold, lime-green branded helicopter are in the Generation III design, and the pax seats have donut headrests. The seat covers were manufactured in Black leather (ADI-1091) with detailing in lime-green stitching that perfectly matched the aircraft’s exterior paint scheme. At Generation Global, we constantly pay attention to the smallest of details.

The seat inserts had the 'Curve Honey Grid' (SA010) quilting pattern stitched in with our computer quilting machines. The quilting work and the double stitching on the seat's outer seams were all done in the Lime Green (Serafil 92) thread. 

This AS350 had rear, fold-down pax seat bases. Each base has foam inserts and is covered in a black (ADI-1091) synthetic leather material to match the black material on the headlining and bulkheads.

The flooring in this helicopter was vinyl with plush carpet overmats that can be fitted over the flooring and quickly installed when needed. The utility vinyl penny mating flooring is matt black in color, while the carpet maps are Gen-floor WN-120 Black City. Black leather (ADI-1091) control boots match the matt black flooring, completing a cohesive, top-to-bottom color scheme.
