AS355 seating, carpets, and other trim

This project was the refurbishment of the interior of an AS355 helicopter. The interior supplied included new seating, carpet floor coverings, and other trim such as the luggage linings. The client imported two AS355 helicopters from France which were refurbished in matching styling.

The main feature that impacts the look of the interior is the choice of the colour of the leather on the seat covers. In this case, the leather colour provided a striking contrast to the light grey cabin colouring. The carpet in the aircraft is the Genflor carpet in the colour Peat (WN-120) which is a dark brown. The carpet is edged with black mesh binding on the exposed edges and door sills capture the carpets on the two doors.

The seats in the aircraft are the Generation lll design for both the front bucket seats and the rear high-back seats. The seat covers are made using brown(ADI-4104) nappa leather, which is a bold rich color. The seat covers are also stitched with matching stitching.

The seat styling has decorative stitching on the faces which adds depth to the seat. The seat inserts in the seat backrest and bottom area also had the leather perforated with SP1 perforation. The luggage area was lined with peat carpet.
