ATR 72 Crew Seating

THE PROJECT >

This project involved Generation Global supplying pilot and co-pilot seat covers for an operator of an ATR 72 aircraft. The seats are an IPECO seat with no headrest. Click here to see ATR 42/72 crew seats and interior parts on Generation Global’s website.

The IPECO crew seats fitted to the ATR series aircraft, traditionally come with an orange/brown striped fabric dress cover. Generation Global have developed and certified an aftermarket alternative dress cover using the finest New Zealand Sheepskin.

The new seat covers incorporate the standard ‘Oxford grey’ cockpit colour sheepskin faces along with the grey wool blend fabric (Geneva) on the side borders.

THE CLIENT>

This client operates an airline formed following the independence of Pacific Nation of Vanuatu and has become the national carrier. The airline operates from the capital, Port Vila and is wholly owned by the government since 2009. The airline operates many routes within the region including between the islands of Tonga, Samoa and Fiji. The client also operates flights that connect the wider region with Australia, New Zealand and China.
