Beechcraft B300 King Air 350

This project saw Generation Global team up with a leading maintenance organisation to completely overhaul the interior of a Beech King Air 350. The clients scope required a full interior refresh, down to the smallest detail. The finished result was an aircraft that looked like brand-new from the Beechcraft plant.

The interior linings included new carpet floor coverings, new upholstery on the sidewall panels, and the ceiling panels recovered. The soft furnishings included crew seats, passenger seats, and aft compartment curtains. The veneer finishes on the sidewalls, tray tables, and bulkheads were also reconditioned to pristine condition.

The floor coverings featured woolen carpets with contrasting colours and a textured pattern. Each lower sidewall was wrapped in white synthetic leather, as was the inset paneling on the tray tables. The upper sidewall sections and armrests were wrapped in charcoal leather and complemented with white stitching. This feature was mirrored also on the upper tray table section with cup holders. The cabin ceilings were wrapped in China white synthetic leather, while the window panels were wrapped in textured silver fabric.

The cabin seating in the aircraft has black Italian leather upholstery with diamond-quilted and perforated inserts, providing a luxury look and feel. The toilet seat cover in the rear of the cabin, opposite the door, is also styled to match.

All the timber finishing in the cabin was refinished in a high gloss piano finish including minor repairs as necessary. The tray tables were reconditioned, and new USB charging ports were added below the cup holders. All interior trim parts with exposed metal were replated and given a brushed chrome finish. 

The cockpit’s sidewalls were wrapped in the same textured fabric that we used on the rear bulkhead and the curtains in front of the luggage area. The sidewalls feature several leather pockets for storage. The crew seat covers are made using the same leather as is found on the passenger seats but with the addition of dark grey sheepskin on their faces. Other cockpit details included the refurbishment of the glare shield and the painting of the plastic paneling to match the colour of the window panels in the main cabin.
