THE PROJECT>

If you’ve been following our posts, you’ve almost certainly seen the Bell 206 is one of the most popular interiors supplied by Generation Global. For this project, we supplied new upholstery for a Bell 206 from the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom. The interior you see in the photos below is an interior that was purchased from Generation Global’s website. And though our production facility is half a world away from our client, these parts took advantage of our website's free shipping policy.

Straightaway, the seat inserts command your attention. The inserts in these seats are made from black leather (ADI-1091) that has been stitched with white stitching in the double diamond quilting patten (SA005). The main upholstery colour was white leather (ADI-1021). The door trims were also upholstered in white leather, creating a sharp and unified look.

The seats on this Bell 206 are of a frameless, Generation I design. In addition to supplying covers for all of them, we also supplied new seat cushions. These are shaped to fit the contours of the seat structure while also providing comfortable, ergonomic support. Each seat back features a composite structure and is attached with velcro for easy installation.

The helicopter’s floor coverings were manufactured with Black City (1003A) carpet and looked great installed. Generation Global is set up with a number of different flooring configurations, depending on the setup of its seats, doors, controls, etc. And for the final touch, we provided control boots, made from black leather (ADI-1091), which were fitted directly to the carpet for a seamless appearance.
