Bell 206 Jet Ranger Interior

SUMMARY >

This project was to provide a new interior for a Bell 206 Jet Ranger helicopter. The interior included seating, door trims, control boots, and floor coverings. These parts were fitted to the aircraft by the Generation Global team. This is a rare opportunity to install our own product, considering most kits are shipped directly to the operator and installed by the operator's maintenance organisation.

The interior was in grey tones with light and dark grey colors put together to provide a contrast. The floor coverings in the helicopter were in a dark grey cut pile carpet. The floor coverings also included the carpet on the lower side walls and below the seats. The floor coverings were edged with a matching black mesh binding.

The crew seating and pax seating in the helicopter were manufactured using charcoal grey leather as the main color and titanium grey leather center inserts. The center inserts on the seat backrests and bottoms were also perforated with the SP1 perforation pattern.

Like the seat covers, the door trim inserts are covered in matching leather. The seats and door inserts included contrasting titanium grey decorative stitching. The four door insert panels also feature map pockets for the convenience of the occupants.

As mentioned, new control boots were supplied for the collective and cyclic boots. These boots are made using a malleable black leather which allow the controls to move easily.
