Bell 407 slings, cushions and covers

THE PROJECT >

This project included Generation Global supplying replacement seat slings, cushions and covers for seating in 3 x Bell 407 helicopters. These parts were supplied with EASA design certification and EASA Form 1 Release Certificate. The aircraft is operated under FAA and the FAA accept a EASA DOA design change classified as a ‘minor change’ in accordance with EASA Part 21A.91 as acceptable data based on the FAA-EASA Bilateral agreement without any further investigation. The Pax seating was in the Generation I seating style and covered in the aviation leather (Navy Blue - 2021). The seat backrest is framed with the embossed Bell logo. The centre insert panels in the seat backrest and bottom were perforated with a SP1 perforation pattern to provide both a simple feature and for its breathability in a temperate environment.

THE CLIENT>

The client for this project is a helicopter maintenance provider based in Puerto Rico and services the surrounding Caribbean region. The company provides maintenance and repairs for helicopter operators as well as selling helicopter parts and related components. This client has brought multiple kits though Generation Global’s online shop and fitted these to machines they maintain.
