Bell 505 Flooring

This project included Generation Global supplying interior parts for a Bell 505 operator in Poland. The parts included an interior carpet set and headlining and rear bulkhead kit. Interestingly, a new Bell 505 comes with a very spartan factory interior including no flooring or interior linings. All these parts are available on Generation Global’s online-shop. Certification for the parts included EASA Form 1 release Certificate.

This carpet set was manufactured from aviation quality nylon cut pile carpet (WN-120, Zimmer) and edged with a matching mesh binding tape. The headlining and bulkhead panels are manufactured using aviation foam backing and covered with a modern knitted polyester fabric (HL-104). 

The client was a private helicopter owner based in Duchnów, Poland. The Bell 505 Jet Ranger X is an American/Canadian light helicopter developed by Bell Helicopter and produced by Bell Textron Canada. The Bell 505 was unveiled at the 2013 Paris Airshow and unveiled in Poland in 2015. With a price tag of around $1 million, the 505 is pitched against the Robinson Helicopter R66. Generation Global have developed an interior kit similar to Robinson to allow clients to complete the interior.
