Cessna 152 Seating

THE PROJECT >

This project included Generation Global supplying replacement seat upholstery for a Cessna 152 aircraft. This upholstery kit included supplying new seat dress covers and foam cushions. The seat upholstery was fitted up at Generation Global’s Nelson facility and included refurbishment of the seat frame. The seats were installed in the aircraft and certified under Generation Global’s Part 145 Maintenance Approval. Click here to see these Cessna 152 parts in Generation Global’s online shop.

The seat covers were manufactured in a Navy Blue (ADI-2021) aviation leather and feature a double stitched  seam down the centre insert in matching blue thread. The seat cover also features piping on the outer seams of the side bolsters. The seat shaping has been re-designed to give increased comfort with increased lumber and lateral support for the occupants.

THE CLIENT>

This client was an Aeroclub located in the North Island of New Zealand. The Aeroclub is located on an ex domestic airfield and operates a flight training school with their own instructors, simulators, and classrooms. The Aeroclub use a range of Cessna and Piper aircraft.
