Cessna 172S interior

This project included Generation Global refurbishing the interior of a Cessna 172S interior. Part’s included in the refurbishment were the seat upholstery, sidewall trims and glareshield. The seating in this aircraft was the C172S Seat Upholstery (1996 +) seating which are dynamically tested seats.  The dress covers were manufactured with Savannah (SX007) aviation leather. The design featured piping on the borders and the leather on the inserts was perforated. 

The sidewall trims are mainly made up of ABS plastic. These trims have insert panels built into them which are wrapped in a material. These inserts were wrapped in Commando Fabric which fits in well with the rest of the linen colour interior.

The cockpit instrument glare shield was wrapped in a combination of matt black leather and woven black fabric. The glare shield has constant exposure to the sun and does an important role in keeping the displays visible.
