Cirrus SR 22 Seating

THE PROJECT >

This project included Generation Global supplying and fitting seat covers to a Cirrus SR 22 aircraft. The client was prompted by a recent SR-22 article and was so impressed they ordered a set. The client sent their seats to Generation Global’s Nelson facility to have them fitted to the frames. This is an option for those that don’t have the desire to fit the covers. The seat covers were manufactured in black leather (ADI-1091) and the leather inserts were perforated (HP-1) to provide breathability for the occupant. The double stitching was in silver thread to match the aircrafts exterior. The front seats have CIRRUS embroidered in white and SR22 embroidered in silver on the outboard side of the seats. SR 22 was additionally embroidered on the headrest part of the seat back on all the seats. The seats also feature the magnetic leather loop which holds the head sets when not in use. 

THE CLIENT>

The client is the Cirrus agent for New Zealand and is a well-known member of New Zealand aviation community, receiving the Queen's Service Medal for services to aviation. Generation Global have completed a number of aircraft with the client over the years and he is always willing to provide a testimonial.
