THE PROJECT >

Generation Global’s team is happy to help our clients with all their aircraft interior projects, no matter how large or small. For this project, we supplied two front seats for a Cirrus SR22. The SR22 is the most popular general aviation plane on the market today, and our client was a private pilot in New York who flies recreationally.

The covers for both seats we supplied featured a handsome, yet subdued Titanium Grey leather (ADI-1231). All stitching was done in a matching thread. Each seat’s back and base insert was stitched with scalloped stitch lines. The seams on the outsides of each base and back, meanwhile, were double stitched to accentuate the seats’ shape.

In a typical SR22, seatbelts feed out over the shoulder of the occupant of the seat. The seat belts are built into the seat backrest, with the two seatbelts feeding out from within the headrest.
