EC130 in White

THE PROJECT>

For this project, the Generation Global team supplied new interior upholstery for an EC130 helicopter. The upholstery kit included brand new seat covers, carpets, rear firewall, and ceiling inserts.

For this project, we supplied the seat dress covers and the OEM seat cushions were supplied new by the client.  The total interior included seven seats. In the front, the EC 130 has three 159 Series Sicma Seats, while the rear seats are bench seats the same as in the AS350 Helicopter and have Generation IV seats fitted.

All seats were styled in white leather that was complemented by black stitch work. We incorporated double stitching on the outer seams for effect and inserts were quilted with a diamond pattern.  Those quilted inserts were also perforated for looks and breathability.

The rear bulkhead and ceiling inserts were wrapped in black leather and the rear bulkhead was upholstered in a durable backing material, as were the two side wall parts that fill the small strip between the firewall and the sliding doors.

New floor coverings were installed, carefully cut from Black City carpet, which was bound with a matching overclocking thread. The floor coverings of an EC 130 are divided into three sections: one in the rear and two in the front.
