EC145 seat covers

This project included Generation Global supplying new aftermarket seat covers for an EC145 helicopter to an OEM support partner in Kazakhstan. These parts were supplied with EASA certification including a Part 21J design approval and EASA Form 1 airworthiness approval certificate. See our range of EC145 interior parts on our online shop.

THE PROJECT >

The replacement aftermarket seat covers are one-piece covers the same as the OEM design with the seat harness shoulder belts retractor housed in the upper seat backrest. The shoulder belts feed out of the backrest through slits over the cover. The covers are manufactured from quality aviation leather in Titanium Grey (ADI-1231FR). The stitching was matched to the leather colour and the outer seams were detailed with double stitching.

THE CLIENT >

The client was based in Kazakhstan and is an official partner of Airbus Helicopters. Their services cover maintenance and training to operators of Airbus Helicopters in that region including providing services to the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Environment. The client is the only Airbus Helicopter organisation that offers training in Russian and trains pilots in many other post-Soviet countries.  The operator has a world-class set up including a state-of-the-art helicopter FNPT III simulator.
