Embraer ERJ 145 Pax Seating

THE PROJECT >

This project involved Generation Global supplying replacement seat dress covers and floorcoverings for the Embraer ERJ 145 aircraft type. The replacement seat dress covers included Crew, Pax and Flight attendant (FA) seating. These parts are available to be viewed on-line on Generation Global’s website.

The seat dress covers colour was designed to match the client’s livery. The covers were manufactured from Black (ADI-1091) aviation leather with Red (ADI-3011) on the headrests, centre inserts and bottom front edges. The centre inserts featured decorative double stitch lines horizontally at intervals.

The floor coverings also took up the red colour scheme with a red (TS-10-02722) loop pile carpet supplied. The carpet is a thin (4.5 mm), lightweight, fire retardant, 100% wool product in a red and grey pattern. The carpet is bound on the edges with black serging to protect the edges. The carpet runs in narrow lengths down the length of the aircraft and the width is determined by the width between the seat tracks. 

THE CLIENT>

This project was managed by an MRO on behalf of the client. The interior was competed while the aircraft was in Melbourne undergoing heavy maintenance. The client already operates other Embraer Aircraft.
