Flight Attendant seat covers for ATR 72-500

THE PROJECT >

This project was to supply flight attendant seat covers for ATR 72-500 aircraft. An aircraft leasing company purchased the two-part dress covers and shipped them directly to the National airline's maintenance center.

The flight attendant seats in the aircraft are Zodiac Seats which fold back against the bulkhead to conserve space. The two FA seats are located with one at the front of the cabin in the accessway to the cockpit and the other is at the rear of the cabin and folds out into the rear Galley area when the main cabin door is closed.

Generation Global manufactured the 537-Series FA seat covers from Royal Blue leather (ADI 2031). The seat covers are a simple design including the bottom, the backrest and the panel cover. The FA seat design has thin cushions and no lumber or shaping for comfort with the purpose of storage in mind when the seat is folded away.

THE CLIENT>

The client is an international aircraft leasing company located in the Republic of Ireland. They operate scheduled freight flights on routes in the European region. The company also has passenger aircraft which they both operate charter flights as well as the wet-lease agreements that they have with airlines. As mentioned, Generation Global supplied the parts to a maintenance center with the aircraft being retired from the airline's fleet.
