MD 269 Helicopter Seating

This project was to supply a website order for a client in Australia. The order included new seat upholstery for their MD 269 Helicopter. The client is based in the Melbourne area and offers a variety of services including commercial, tourism, and pilot training.

The product comes as a full seat assembly which excludes the pilot and co-pilot/pax seats. The middle dickie seat was excluded from this order. As the website order was over $1,000, the parts were shipped freight free to the client. Please note, the freight-free option for orders over $1,000 only applies to website orders. 

The seat assembly is made up of a hard shell backing panel, a foam cushion, the seat dress cover, and velcro attachments. The seat covers were manufactured in navy blue leather (ADI-2021) and the stitching was in a matching color. The covers were a simple design and only featured horizontal double stitch lines across the faces on the seat base and backrest.
