THE PROJECT>

For this project, our team performed an executive refresh for an airline’s Pilatus PC-12, which is used for charter work. The aircraft was purchased by the client from Australia - it had been used as a medical aircraft, but our client converted it back to its original, corporate layout. Generation Global gave this plane’s interior a complete refurbish, replacing or upgrading all sidewalls, cabinetry, seating, and curtains.

This aircraft features four executive-style passenger seats, which face each other and boast fold-out tray tables. Behind these are four forward-facing “commuter” seats. We worked to broaden each upper seat cushion to help round out the backrests. Headrests were fully integrated into the seat backs, and each seat also sported armrests and a fold-out footrest.

The new cabin linings we provided included vinyl ceilings, fabric sidewalls, and woodwork accents. We also resurfaced the forward and aft bulkheads and the airstair surrounds and relacquered the wood finish on front bulkheads and forward storage cabinetry.

This plane’s original lower sidewalls were badly damaged from their previous life in the medical sphere - we repaired these and re-covered them in sesame-colored City Fabric. We leather-wrapped the armrest parts of the sidewall. For the ceiling panels and upper sidewalls, we used Classic Grey Ultraleather. We finished out the project by providing new fabric curtains for the front luggage area, the rear bulkhead, and the cockpit.
