Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche Seating

This project was for a client in Nova Scotia, Canada who was looking for seat covers and cushions for their Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche. Generation Global supplied new covers and cushions for the two crew seats and the two single pax seats including headrests. Also supplied and fitted was an armrest cover. The Twin Comanche was developed as a four-seater aircraft with some later models having two additional seats added.

The seat covers and cushions were developed for the Twin Comanche using this project. The client sent one of the pax seat frames to the Generation Global facility for patterning and to fit the new cover and cushion to the frame.

The seat covers were styled with the main color being ancient grey leather (ADI-1151). The secondary color was navy blue (ADI-2021) which was used in the inserts. The leather used in the inserts was perforated with SP-1 perforation design. The seat cushions were compressed to reduce size for shipping and they return to their shape when opened on arrival.

The stitching on the outer seams of the base, back, and headrest were stitched with a navy blue thread. The armrest was styled the same as the seat with ancient grey leather and navy blue stitching on the seams.
