R44 sheepskin overcovers

This project included supplying sheepskin seat overcovers for a helicopter client in Canada. The request came from the client to develop a sheepskin overcover to fit the front seats of their Robinson R44. The Robinson seat overcovers can now be purchased directly from the Generation Global website.

The seat overcovers were made from New Zealand sheepskin and provide the occupants with comfort as well as protection for the existing front seat covers. The front seats in the helicopter have the most usage, meaning they also are subject to the most wear. Protective overcovers in canvas or sheepskin are often used to extend the life of the interior. 

The bottom and backrest faces of the seats are covered in amber-colored sheepskin with beige leather on the side borders. The overcovers are secured by velcro to the underside of the seat.
