R66 Flooring and Headlining

THE PROJECT>

This project involved Generation Global supplying an interior kit for a Robinson R66 Helicopter to a client in Australia. The kit included new carpets, aftermarket door inserts, a rear bulkhead, and a full headlining assembly. Certification included EASA Part 21J Certificate (R6601-APF01) and EASA Form 1 release Certificate.

The door inserts were covered in quality aviation leather, Black (ADI-1091) with decorative stitching in contrasting yellow. The carpets were Black City (WN-120) with matching mesh binding and the headlining and bulkhead assembly were in Black (HL-104) laminated fabric. All these parts are available on Generation Global’s online-shop.

THE CLIENT>

The client is a maintenance facility located in the centre of Bankstown Airport, Sydney, NSW Australia.  Their scope of services includes field work, routine maintenance and aircraft fitouts including ratings on Augusta 109 series, Bell 212, BO 105 series, Eurocopter AS 355 series, Eurocopter EC 135 and Eurocopter MBB-BK 117.
