THE PROJECT>

At Generation Global, we’re always striving to help our customers meet their aircraft interior needs, even when we don’t perform the installations ourselves. For this project, a client of ours ordered seating, door inserts, and carpets for their Bell 206 Jet Ranger helicopter.

The seats in our client’s Bell used the popular Generation I style upholstery and were fitted to the factory frames. For a bold color scheme, our client requested pearl leather (ADI-4071) backing with royal blue leather (ADI-2031) inserts. The leather on each backrest was also carefully embossed with the Bell logo.

You may have noticed these inserts’ eye-catching pattern as well - the inserts were breathable due to the perforated leather and the quilting pattern was a handsome vertical four-line quilting (SA019). The quilting stitching colour was black to help the pattern really pop. The main seat seams were stitched with Royal Blue to match the inserts.

For this helicopter’s front and rear doors, we furnished black leather (ADI-1091) inserts. The inserts include handy pockets. Each insert is specially shaped to fill the areas below the door handles and armrests. To keep the theme consistent throughout the aircraft, we used Royal Blue stitching on the inserts, to match the seats.

The Bell 206 floorplan is sophisticated and has many small parts. The carpet kit we provided includes parts that fit around both the pillar in the rear cabin and the vertical under the seat base. The floor coverings were made from Blackcity Genflor (WN-120) material and edged with matching mesh binding.
