Cessna 185 Skywagon interior

For this in-depth project, our team performed a full interior refurbishment for a Cessna 185 Skywagon. We provided and installed everything new including floor coverings, headlining, sidewall upholstery, seat dress covers, foam cushions, and refurbished seat frames.

This aircraft’s seating featured two front seats, an auxiliary second row with two single seats, and a rear bench seat. Our team provided new charcoal grey leather (ADI-1121) covers, with grey stitching to match, for all of these. The two front seat backrests were also embossed with the Cessna logo.

The new linings that we provided included a suspended headlining, which was made from white vinyl. The windlace surrounding the doors, as well as the new sunvisor pieces, were also wrapped in white vinyl, giving the cabin a light and spacious feel.

A brand-new interior plastic lining kit was supplied and fitted to this client’s aircraft. All plastic pieces above the windows were painted white to match the vinyl, while the armrests on the sidewalls were wrapped in charcoal grey leather to match the seats.

Moving to the floor coverings, we replaced this Cessna’s old carpeting with a new ash carpet bound in a black mesh binding. Finally, our team refurbished each control yolk, fitting new perforated black leather grips.
