COMERCIAL AIRCRAFT CABIN CURTAINS >

Aircraft curtains are used in the main cabin to provide privacy and divide the cabin into various classes of seating. The designing and manufacturing of aircraft curtains is a specialized segment and requires working within the particular airline's branding and color scheme. When designing and manufacturing aircraft curtains, we need to ensure lightweight and flame-retardant materials are used to ensure the curtains meet all regulatory requirements and aviation safety standards. On top of this, we ensure that we end up with a nice design that will enhance the overall look of the interior.

CURTAIN MATERIALS >

The curtains that Generation Global produce enhance all interiors with their functionality and aesthetics. We offer a range of materials with our main materials being woolen or polyester for aircraft curtains and drapes. Choosing the right color aircraft curtains means everything! You could pick a contrasting color to your seats and the rest of the interior, which would help make a statement within the interior or you could choose a similar color to the rest of your interior and create a more harmonious and relaxing finish to your interior.

STEAM PLEATING >

Steam pleated curtains are practical and aesthetically pleasing! The permanent pleats ensure that the curtains consistently look perfect. Not only does it ensure the curtains look amazing for their whole life time it means that they sit nicely when pulled back. When they can be pulled back nicely this ensures that they don't take up too much space within the aircraft and therefore ensure easy access through the passageways.

A true steam pleat should never come out of the material, even when it is cleaned. Generation Global pride themselves in producing truly steam pleated curtains which will last their lifetime! Wash them, and they can go straight back in the aircraft without needing to be ironed. To create the most durable pleat we recommend using polyester. You can also steam pleat cotton and linen, but we can't guarantee that the pleats will hold as well. We also proudly claim that the way Generation Global steam pleats their curtains involves no chemicals. 

CURTAIN TIE-BACKS >

We also produce tie-backs. Tie backs usually sit half way down the length of the curtain and are used to draw the curtains back. The tie-back strap wraps around the curtain and hold it back with either Velcro or a snap. This ensure that the curtains can be kept tidy and out of the way when they aren't needed.
