HANGER UPDATE >

Generation Global is excited to provide an update on the progress of the new Nelson hanger. The roof is now finished and the walls are well underway with cladding. The move-in date is scheduled for the end of November. The new facility will provide ample undercover storage for client's interior completions. The facility includes a painting facility, client lounge, and administration facilities for Generation Globals head office staff.

DEVELOPMENT WORK >

Over recent months the Generation Global team has been working with an American helicopter manufacturer to develop a new generation of interiors. The client has been manufacturing helicopters since the mid-1960s and is regarded as one of the original pioneers in the industry. Generation Global is excited about the new designs and looking forward to them being released in time.  

MARPA 2023 >

Generation Global is looking forward to attending the Modification and Replacement Parts Association (MARPA) Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida. Generation Global is an EASA approved production organization and manufactures many PMA parts for the USA market. This event offers a great opportunity to meet with clients regarding interior PMA parts.

LAMINATION >

The technique of laminating materials together is common in the aircraft interior industry. The automotive industry was the pioneer in this technology and we have seen this used more and more in aviation. Lamination offers a smooth consistent finish. Generation Global uses a number of different technologies to laminate the leather materials with hot melt and hot press being the most common.
